JEM Ministries
This ministry was founded in 2016 by Julie and Grant Mansell who are a vibrant part of our church family. Our support to this ministry goes directly to the many needs in Kenya and Uganda including Doctor and Hospital care, schooling requirements for children and emergency food and care needs within the communities connected to the ministry.

Our current mission outreach 2026
Mission Focus:
During 2026 our last Sunday service of each month will be dedicated to missions ministry, updating you on our support and also keeping you informed of Global situations. In March we will focus on our support of local missions with a report on the Food bank in Otorohanga area.
JEM Ministries:
Julie will be travelling to Africa in April. Please pray
for the ministry and her safe travel.
JEM Ministries has been privileged to make a real difference in
the lives of several women and families across Kenya and Uganda — thanks to your ongoing support and prayers.
Restoring Dignity for Girls
We were able to provide sanitary products to several ladies and
young girls. This simple gift was deeply appreciated — many of
these girls would otherwise miss school out of embarrassment.
Your generosity is helping them stay in class and build a hopeful
future.
Joel and Lizzie
Joel and Lizzie have lived and worked faithfully with Loyal workshop
in Kolkata city, North East India for the past 10 years.
Recently, after the birth of their second child they moved back to NZ.
However they continue to work for Loyal with Joel involved in marketing, website and sales. Lizzie is also involved in social care at Loyal.
This workshop ministry provides wholesome employment for local women of Kolkata
by producing high quality leather products which are sold worldwide.

THRIVE: Inspiring our youth

Thrive: "Inspiring our youth to be the best they
can be."
The goal of this local ministry is to empower
our youth by providing support programmes for
young people from seven local Primary schools,
through Secondary school and beyond.
These programmes include holiday activities,
rock climbing, and mentoring in group and
individual sessions, with conversations around
self esteem, confidence, sportsmanship and self control.
